Please read the requirement very carefully: We require the creation of an interactive U.S. map that will include different layers, the default map setting will only show the borders between the states: [login to view URL] When a user checks an appropriate check box it will add a layer to the map (for example: tornado risk layer, hurricane risk layer, seismic hazard, etc) Here is an example of how it should look: [login to view URL] Please note that the above page has a different map for each risk as we require 1 interactive map that will include them all in layers. In addition we require a linked database that will include the entire directory of zip codes in the U.S., furthermore we would like the option to enter the location of certain facilities (hospitals, fire deparments, etc) using an exact coordinates, when a user enters his home zip code the map will zoom in to his location and text below the map will show how far those facilities are from him in Miles. Hello, I have 13 years of web development experience and I have created many applications with different custom Google Maps generation. I cannot disclose all of them because either some of the sites do not exist anymore or due to legal bindings of NDA. A couple of projects that I did: https://www.freelancer.com/projects/PHP-MySQL/Plotting-Markers-Google-Maps.html https://www.freelancer.com/projects/PHP-Javascript/Plotting-Markers-Google-Maps-ADVANCED.html Similarly, I coded interactive maps for radius of work for offices of a real estate company, which mentioned the zip codes to be included within the radius of the office locations, the site is not online anymore. I have also coded for a store locator recently for a client that I cannot disclose. For your project I would like to know what would the source of data for natural disaster map. I have a zipcode database with me but I am not sure whether it is complete. I would therefore like you to supply me with a complete zipcode database.
