Hi, I am interested in your project as generating traffic and attaining position is always challenging. I am always looking for new experiences in with Ad Words. Here is a summary on how I would go about the account to begin with: First Stage --Create account and structure (campaigns and ad groups); --Search relevant keywords and categorize into campaigns and ad groups based on brand & non brand, product or service category, matchtype and so on. --Identify all possible negative keywords and create lists to exclude them --Create appealing Text-Ads; --Assign budgets and CPC in acordance to forecast --Link Adwords Account with a Goolge analytics account (relevant for stage 2) --If GDN is to be used, exclude all placement sites that might not be appropriate advertising --Get art work or banners themselves from the client for use in GDN --black list all client IP addresses so as not to distortion traffic stats. --Once all is tuned, activate the campaigns. Second Stage --traffic analysis for Keywords, Ads and placements --assessment of keyword position and quality scores --exclusion of low performing keywords and ads; inclusion of more keywords and ads --adjustment of CPC bids and budgets; observing 1st page CPCs --traffic assessment from Google analytic (sources of traffic...)
