Contractor Payroll System

This is a proposal for a small payroll system to calculate payments to subcontractors. The system must include an input screen that allows the user to enter the following: • Contractor identifying information to accommodate up to 10 subcontractors, including name, address, and SSN or EIN. • Payment data to include hourly rate & # of hours for time-based contracts, and installment amount for fixed-priced contracts. The system must output the following: • Reporting for current and YTD totals by ID/Resource Number • Paycheck template. • 1099 forms using US IRS format Notes: • System should be designed as a standalone system that runs on machines running Windows operating system (XP or higher) • System should be developed using Java or C# • System must be completed by Thursday, February 9th • Our budget for this task is limited to $50.
