There is another program on the market that does this called toddler lock (without root). The navigation bar needs to be disabled, but I still need to be able to interact with the screen without it reappearing. When I close my application the navigation bar needs to reappear. I would prefer that the code does not require root, but if that is the only way - it is acceptable. Additional Information: 1. Does this method require rooting the device? 2. What android API level does it require? 3. Does it implement the project objective?
