D3.js globe implementation

I have this [login to view URL] functioning globe using the D3.js library and would like the following: 1/. when you click on a country, the globe needs to rotate and center on this lat/lon point. 2/. on double click, i would like this to either zoom into a map or create a new map, similar to [login to view URL] (if you click on Australia or USA currently this uses [login to view URL] and the code can be found [login to view URL]) then when you click on Australia this zooms/drills down to the States similar to [login to view URL] 3/. optimise the [login to view URL] code as currently it is still slow in the click responses and the UI for the maps needs to be made cleaner, [login to view URL], where the 3rd bottom right map should display the country level zoom and the main center map should display the states/region.
