Detect Open VPN Suspicious attacks

Needing a Freelancer to monitor our OpenVPN logs for suspicious attacks made from our server. From our Hosting provider "It's not so much the traffic they're using, it's the PPS (Packets per second) being sent from your server (outbound) to the world. It's too high and not normal usage"... could someone please assist?
