We are a mid size Norwegian Managed IT / IT Outsourcing / Cloud company which recently established ourselves in South Africa. We would like to get press coverage in a few, target, business/IT web sites and need a freelancer to develop the plan and do the PR writing as well as following up. A bonus if we get published all choosen places. In short is out key arguments: Managed IT is a new thing in Africa because of limited broadband up untill a few years ago Most growing market in the world Lack of technical IT management skills on the continent Cape Town, most technical advanced and among the lowest priced IT skills in the world. Doorway has run managed IT for SME for more than 12 years - 10+ more years than any African competitor A fixed price pr month for a easy-to-understand product with no surprises Unusual for a Euorpean IT company to focus on Africa - but this is where the growth are Doorway Manage IT for more than 10 000 users all over the world. It has just over 100 employees, three private owned data centers and are a Microsoft Gold partner. Hi Geirt, Thanks for placing this exciting project. My bid will be for three press release (average word count 500 words) to be written, approved and delivered over a 30 day period. This will also include issuing and following up with the below outlets to push for coverage on these online sites. I will also work with you on a mini-story calendar and best news angles to deliver. Internat reates in Africa are growing at double-digit rates and is well on track to hit 3 billion users this year - but it is still bottom of the pile compared to the rest of the world. These kind of stats will support strongly you news and this is how I would be looking to leverage you in these online sites. For your reference I have more than 6 years experience in senior management positions in public relations and corporate communications. I have represented Panasonic, Symantec and Acer in the Middle East so have a good understanding of the tech industry. Prior to that I worked with the BBC for just under 10 years, so know just what journalists require. I am an English guy and online 15 hours a day, so believe that communication will be easy and strong. I am a South African writer based in Cape Town, with a comprehensive understanding of the potential in the local IT market.
