We are looking for solutions to deform CaCO3 to CaO and pure CO2 not using heat. This chemical deformation will usually happen by heat about 900 degree Celsius. There are solutions to decrease the heat to 100 degree as well. In order to award this project, you as an expert, should be able to convince us about your capabilities to finalize this. Hello, I am a Chemical Engineer, have a PhD in Chemistry and worked at a International Cement Manufacturing Company. As per your project aim to obtain CaO from CaCO3 not using heat, I would first say that such decomposition requires some type of energy, and I would ask What kind of energy are you willing to accept in order to decompose CaCO3 into CaO. Depending on that, I may provide possible suggestions.
