App Development for Android

Basically what we are looking for is similar to the Snap Send Solve app with some minor modifications in field entry: [login to view URL] We require an internal solution for our maintenance crew to submit: • Inspection reports • Reactive maintenance work reports • Asset updates The app we require will need to be easy to use with prompts to obtain the info required as with Snap Send Solve. If possible these prompts would lead to the required information page depending on the report required. Ie there may be multiple reports available. The ability not be able to proceed or submit report without required fields being entered is necessary. It will also require space for comments to be entered. Other requirements would include • Photo ability • GPS (please advise of accuracy, and potential to add our asset network overlay on to the map). • Ability to read barcodes (many of our assets are barcoded for asset recognition, while all have an asset ID number) • Eventual ability to feed into the back end of our Asset Management System, e-mail notification would suffice at start. Please advise how the submitted information would be displayed by the receiving or end person.
