Blog App Customization (Appcelerator Titanium)

Hello, I have bought this application on CodeCanyon [login to view URL] It's a very nice working/functional application running on Android and iPhone but I would like to extend it a bit more. The original developer is too busy and I don't have enough Appcelerator skills to make the changes I require. My idea of the whole thing is to provide a ready-made application to blogs that I partner with, so that their users can have a iPhone/iPad/Android version of it. 1/ I would like to have a better rendering for the article view. It's essential for a blog application to be nice to read. It's currently a raw view in HTML with white background with black text on it, nothing more. The image are not correctly sized sometimes and they need for the iPhone/Android to scroll horizontally. (I have full design available if required) 2/ This application has a basic requirement which is to install a small plugin for Wordpress to export the posts in JSON. I don't want that because this application will be used for a few hundred blogs I don't always own myself. So I don't want to let my partners install things. Instead I would like to use something more universal : RSS Feeds. The application is already supporting RSS Feeds, but it does only take the excerpt give in the RSS feed. I would like instead to download the full article content (linked inside the RSS feed) so that users can browse the full content of the blog. 3/ I would like to change the push notifications system. a. There's nothing for Android currently implemented. I would like to support Android users fully. b. It's using Urban Airship for iPhone, which is too expense. I would like to use something free instead (I can host everything) like EasyAPNS in PHP. 4/ I would like to automatically push a notification to the users, everytime there's a new post from the blog. So far there's nothing implemented for that. It's a basic monitoring script, pushing everytime there's something new for the RSS feed. Every scripting language is fine as long it's running on Linux platform : PHP, Ruby or Python is OK. Thanks a lot, Pauline
