This is ridiculously simple and I've designed systems with much less secure devices like LMR handheld radios for Base Commanders for the USAF for audio masking over 90db (yelling over a phone's Speaker Mode or an LMR at full volume). These guys charging $500+ deserve to be undercut, for a simple consultation that's just nonsense. If you're asking for a finished product, I'd expect my method to run you about $1k in product R&D with 5 prototypes, then about $200 for each assembly. I've worked alongside some rather unsavory 3 letter agencies and can tell you now that there are issues here you're not covering and several other ways to intercept your audio, and I can teach you what you need to know to prevent that. All I'd request in addition is 1% of any sales of any products you create under/after my guidance/consultation should you so choose to market them.
