two tier android application

This project deals with navigating people to their destination of their own choice or selecting the destination from the database. The destination places can be of any type like dining, movies, parks, restaurants, bar and music etc. that are located nearby our place or near the location where we are present at that moment. The main contribution of the project is to present a comprehensive understanding of how to realize city guide on mobile platform Android. The final prototype covers basic functionalities of city guide such as showing map, locating points of interest (POIs) on map, locating user’s location, retrieving information of POIs, show route direction to POIs and choose different kinds of POIs to show on map.
