I have been using a Applicant Tracking system called Sendouts. I am leaving them and want to migrate the info to an mysql database on my server. They gave me a .MDF file which they say is all the information of my database. I need someone to open the MDF file and import the information into a mysql database so that I can access the information is a structured way.

Hi chucklabenski, MDF files are files exported from MS SQL Server Express Database, If the database is small I can migrate it manually, and in case it was large with many tables, I will create you a tool to migrate the data to MYSQL database

Hello sir, Your file needs to be imported into a sql express server application, and from there, you firstly need to export the structure in mysql(.sql format) and after that, data in csv format. Do you have the application made so you can use the data in mysql format? Thank you

Hey there, yeah it's pretty straight forward proposal. I'll load the mdf into my running sql server service. From there I can attempt a bridge to a mysql server, but if there is an issue I can fall be to extracting the schema and using a mysql migration tool to construct the database from it.. than I'll work with getting the data in there... (which might require writing a custom script)..
