A site which finds the location of a person based on the IP address. If location determined is not correct, then user can overwrite and provide correct address. Searching in a database: User should be able to search from a text box, particular columns in the database. The search results will have a predefined format and if the search parameter matches any of the rows of particular columns, the corresponding list of search query results will be updated in real time as the user types. The search results format will consist of multiple tables of results, with each table having an identical format. All tables will be arranged one after another, with the ability of the user to hide part of the table by clicking on a button. Selecting from search results: User should be able to select from the list of tabulated results and provide comments to each selection (recorded in a separate column in the database). Finalizing selection: When user clicks a button, the user should see a CAPTCHA that qualifies him to be a human. On clicking a button, the selection results should be emailed to the email addresses associated with the corresponding table. All such selections that trigger an email need to go into the database. Database updating: A webpage will allow users to upload CSV files with a fixed format that will delete their associated rows in the database and create rows with entries corresponding to the entries in their CSV file. Project needs to be developed using .NET, AJAX using SQL server database. Database will be very small: only about 5 - 7 columns.
