This project is for a small payment module for DotNetNuke 3.3.x plus. The module should be written in VB.NET and support the following features:
The module should optionally support both Authorizenet merchant and Paypal merchant. The administrator should be able to turn on which merchants are avaliable from these two.
The module will collect information about the user (the basic information such as first name, last name, etc...). The admin from within admin settings will optionally be able to turn on/off which common fields are displayed/taken from the user.
The module will allow the admin to setup 'Packages'. Each package will consit of a DotNetNuke Security Role, the number of days the security role should be added, and a price. For example, the role 'Member' might be setup for 60 days at $30.00 or 'Member' might be setup for 365 days at 365 days'.
The administrator will be able to choose which packages this module should include or optionally allow the user to select from specified packages.
This module assumes the user is already signed in before purchasing. This is important because information can already be defaulted (i.e. their first name, last name) and also because once the payment processor returns the process will add the necessary roles to the user. Upon returning from the payment processor the module should add the roles specified from the package (i.e. if they selected member it would add the member role for x number of days the admin setup).
Other notes:
The module should store a log of activity for which userID's, roles, and payment date is stored etc...
The module should be able to distribute a message to the site administrator, user, and also specify a message the user sees if their transaction is declined/accepted/etc... These messages should be tokenized (meaning I can include something like Dear $(FirstName), and should be setup within the admin settings).
