a small function, opening a hyperlink after typing in an ID

I need a small function whereby there is a hidden table of website addresses, each with a unique ID. this could possibly be on another page. On the visible page i need just a text field where the ID, a 7 digit number only, can be typed into a text field and, after clicking an action button, the corresponding webiste opens in a new browser. I have a Database to enter the ID's and URL's so if that could be implemented so the page is updated when new URL's are added that would help. If not i can always copy the data from the database or spreadsheet into the page. I am using dreamweaver to edit the graphics so it needs to be available for that. Best Regards Matthew Scott
