Data Transfer through Internet

I want to build a simple application in .net. My purpose is to send data from one to many users through internet. User's also have some client exe which will receive the data through internet. But I don't know exactly how can i send the data through internet, Also I don't want to use VPN connection. So pls suggest me whether i use multicast, broadcast, tcp/ip connections or others. **Server Application** will be very simple.I want to read a text file and send it to my clients at a [login to view URL] suggest me may i require a web server with static IP or not?? **Client Application** can login to my server application and after successfully login it can just able to take the data also it will show the text data. ## Deliverables I don't use any third party control or activex control in my project.
