C true dll tutorial (just the steps ... no big background writeup needed)

I need a very simple tutorial that describes the steps needed to create a C (C ... NOT C++) dll (a true dll that does not require regsvr registration) using Microsoft Visual C++ . The dll should accept (as an argument when calling) a class of type "Dog" with a "Color" property, and a "Name" property. The dll should be callable from any language (VB6, VB dot net, etc). Search for "Passing Structures" in the dot net help. In this article is the subheading "Delcaring and Passing Classes". This is what I want to do, except I want the tutorial to describe building a true dll instead of just using user32.dll. The deliverables are: 1) step by step document with screenshots as needed that will allow someone to accomplish this task with very limited experience. 2)dot net solution project that contains a vb dot net app that calls the dll, sets the prop, and invokes the method, and the VC++ project that creates the C (NOT C++) true dll. 3) a visual basic 6 (SP5) project (with all the documented steps commented in) that calls the dll, sets the prop, and invokes the method WITHOUT HAVING TO SET A REFERENCE in Project-References ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
