VCEnet was a website dedicated to providing study material to Victorian high school students. It contains information in the form of model answers and subject-related articles for a number of subjects. The VCEnet website, [login to view URL] has been inactive for a number of years. It’s backend functionality is broken (although material can still be accessed via admin) and at the time when this occurred some work was still ongoing. As a result as well as the existing information on the website there are some additional articles that were to be uploaded to the site but never were. The articles that are on the website, and that were intended to be uploaded are to be ripped, reformatted, restructured and put into a booklet to be distributed to students. To complete this job, You need to be well-versed in: - Microsoft Word, particularly applying Styles and Formatting - Basic FTP skills (FTP required to transfer some files since there are a large number of files of significant size) Since this project involves some interpretation and a very small amount of writing in English, you must be fluent in written English. This includes grammar, spelling, and punctuation. It would be advantageous for you to have done website development and Content Management Systems and to know HTML. Please reply with confirmation that you have the required skills and include your interest in the job. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
