Directory browser
Something very similar to what is in the right pane of Windows Explorer.
It must be a user control.
It should display files in a list and detail view,
with icons near each file name according to the extension,
plus it must color the files with the extensions that
my custom application can handle, meaning, the user control
must expose a get/set property that would accept a hashtable
with the extension-color pairs, and use it internally to paint the files.
Example:
txt - #FF0000
csv - #00FF00
doc - #0000FF
etc
The file list should be sortable in the same way as in file explorer's detail view.
".." should be listed at the top as a way to go to the parent directory.
Also, should be duplicated as a button on the toobar.
<Enter> on a folder name should enter the folder,
<Enter> on the ".." should go to the parent directory. The top-most
directory is the hard drive.
if a file is double clicked or <enter> is hit,
the user control should generate an event and provide the file path as a parameter.
It should also provide a boolean value, indicating whether the file can be handled by
the application.
When the selection is changed within the control, an event should be generated too.
Multiple selection is ignored for this version ( just return the first file from the
list of selected files)
