Working on a massive backend system for a client that works in the Construction field. We need the ability to upload a PDF, which can then be viewed online in such a way that the user can "mark up" the document and save it as a new PDF. I would imagine this would be done using <canvas> in HTML5, but you tell me. In the interface, the user needs to be able to add text, draw shapes, point to things in the document with arrows, and potentially even do "freeform" drawing/writing of notes with their mouse on top of the original PDF, and then click a "save" button to save the marked-up version as a new PDF.
