Amazon S3 Integration

We have a web application which, presently, downloads a list of files and saves them locally to our server, compresses them into a Zip archive, and produces a link to the Zip file. We would like to transition the storage to S3 with the functionality described above, but resulting in a Zip archive being stored on S3 cloud storage and the link pointing to the file there. Throughout the life of this project, the developer must keep in mind that high volumes and scalability must be integrated into every piece of work. Developer must have previous experience with Amazon Web Services, specifically S3.
