Analyse ''firmware source'' package

Available from [login to view URL] is the source for the Belkin F5D8632-4 router firmware. This router seems to have a few issues, and also a few obvious features which seem to be missing. (For example, the web configuration interface does not provide many common options for DHCP and DNS servers - I can change the style of the web interface and rebuild it, but adding functionality is beyond me) I would like someone who is familiar with this kind of low-level code to take a look at this source package, and tell me whether or not there is enough actual source here to build custom firmware, and if so, which parts of the router software could feasibly be altered (for example: dns server config, web interface, telnet/ssh interface, traffic shaping, LCD control application) If you wish, I can discuss the changes I would like to the router software, and then you can place a bid for these changes. Alternatively, for a smaller project, you can bid to simply provide me with a list of modules/components for which there is or is not enough information available to make changes.
