Commercial Website Re-Design

Our business would like to modernize the look and functionality of our current website, www.freedomics.com. 1. Our current website is built on the LAMP stack (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP). The new site must also be built on the LAMP stack. 2. Our current website is not based on a CMS such as Joomla, WordPress, etc., I am open to using a CMS as part of the redesign, but a CMS is not a requirement of the new site. 3. I would like to replace the vertical static menu with a horizontal dynamic fly-down menu structure based on CSS. The sub-menus should be capable of displaying icons as well as text. 4. I would like to remove the Flash at the top of each page and replace it with a non-flash graphics header of some sort. 5. Page content and overall site layout will not change unless necessary to incorporate the new design. 6. I would like to add a site map page. 7. Any Javascript effects should utilize the jQuery library. 8. The Photo Album section should be re-written to use jQuery. 9. Either a left topic bar or a right topic bar is preferred, but not both. 10. I have attached our existing company logo, which should help with color, design, etc. The new site should be a completely new design, and not take any design components from the existing site. The new site's overall color scheme should be red, white, and blue, similar to our logo. The following sites are a few examples of our competitors.
