Participants of a workshop will be able to register and upload their articles for reviewing by a referee who specialises in that particular field. Articles are reviewed following set out grading guidelines, and accept/reject decisions are made by the organiser. Hence automatic emails are sent out to all participants informing them of their status, on acceptance, they are sent an email informing them of their progress and if they are rejected they are also sent an email stating the referee’s reasons for the decision i.e. the reviewer’s comments. The challenges of the project will be to allocate the most appropriate referee (based on his area of specialisation) to the right article; this will be implemented by using the keyword of the submitted article to match the suitable referee, this will also involve linking mysql database to the php script therefore when a keyword is entered the referee database is queried, to output the matching words, Another issue will be that of interaction (via email) with all the parties involved, this will be done by implementation the mail function in php, Factors like security mechanisms e.g. authentication, authorisation, and data validation should be well understood so as to avoid attackers who would be exploiting the system by gaining access to sensitive information and confidentiality issues (data protection). ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows?
