Hi, I envision that this project is not just a coffee-maker or the barista machine. You've mentioned about stepper/servo motors, temperature sensors, etc... which means you might be something into a self-service coffee machine with intelligence placed on it as the mcu can do better than do 1 linear process. Your product reminds me of one of my projects at my company where I • Modelled and manufactured a polymer filament extruder for 3D printing applications using SolidWorks. • Designed and assembled the electronic parts, including a 1. PID control system implemented using Arduino. 2. Stepper motor(along with motor drivers), 3. Power supply for the heater. 4. Temperature sensor (K type thermocouple and control board to connect to arduino) 5. LCD display and driver 6. Control buttons 7. Programming the Arduino to interact with these devices.
