Design me a Product - Micro Aerial Vehicle

We are a tech start-up company looking for a talented designer / engineer / builder of custom Aerial UAV to help us create our exciting new product – and define our future products. We are looking for the right person who is very skilled and has super awesome experience with flying and designing and building micro aerial vehicles. We expect you to have experience in both manufacturing and design. You will select, design, and build the mechanical systems that enable our product to fly Responsibilities • Iterate and improve vehicle design • Vehicle component selection • Design, build, test, and evaluate prototypes • Design and fabricate mounts, enclosures, and other custom components as the system evolves • Evaluate and iterate on systems’ deficiencies and work on troubleshooting to determine cause and remedy for malfunctions • Work on body structures and frames , autopilots, electronics, sensors, GPS, antennas and other related components • Deliver high quality work on short design cycles • Attention to detail and commitment to quality Qualifications • A passion for designing and building things • Experience building R/C vehicles and/or robots • Experience working with quadrotors or other aerial vehicles • Experience with rapid prototyping and machining • Working knowledge of industry trends • Basic understanding of aerodynamics More details about the project will be disclosed after the selection of the right candidate.
