ASP.NET: Teach me how to extract data from XML string

I have a webservice that returns data in XML format. I have an ASP.NET/C# program that calls this webservice, and while I'm reasonably familiar with C#, I've never worked with XML before. I want someone to teach me what I need to do with the return value, and how to extract specific pieces of data from it. The teaching method is up to you (email, web conference, telephone, or any combination thereof). ## Deliverables Currently, I have the program cast the result as a string, which I can then parse by finding the tag I'm after and grabbing the string between the tags. This is obviously less than ideal, so I want to learn how to properly handle XML data, and it's worth the money to me to be able to ask questions to somebody and make sure that I understand what I'm doing. So, I'm hiring for your patience and communication skills as much as your programming expertise. For my part, I learn fast and listen well, so no worries about nightmare clients! As an example of what I'm trying to do, one (simple) call returns the following dataset: <Results> <ConfMessage> <ResultCode>0</ResultCode> <MessageId>0</MessageId> </ConfMessage> <Result> <UserId>TheUserId</UserId> <Name>Joe Smith</Name> </Result> </Results> I want to know how to store that data, and extract the UserId and Name values.
