Destinos Nauticos web portal

We require Vertical Portal, Content Centric and with Content Management for a nautical tourism and water sports website. A major CMS like DotNetNuke or Joomla should be used (I know a little about this two, others would be considered if justified). We would like a customizable home page via portlets/widgets and user selectable themes. We plan to start small in Central America but would like to be prepared for rapid expansion. The website will be initially in Spanish but should allow adding extra languages (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese); administration should be in Spanish and English. Must integrate a social component. For the design, we would like to depart from the traditional website menu and use widgets similar to Windows Phone 7/Mango, Windows 8 and the new Android Phone Market. We aim to improve the offerings by lonelyplanet, frommers and fodors both in terms of content and design but with a marked skew towards nautical tourism and water sports. Admins should be able to manage the site without technical skills. We would like to have wiki functionality. User groups required, authorizations should be manageable. Navigation should be streamlined, without unnecessary clicks. The site must include a marketplace, integrate with online reservations, ad servers, ad exchanges and affiliate marketing.
