I need to find a way to make water become viscous quickly. In fact if you take the image of the glass of water I want to find a way to make only the surface (approx 3 to 4 mm) to become viscous. its consistency has to allow object to penetrate the surface to go into the water and avoid any splash that this object may create with normal water. The process has to be very quick. The solution must be either powder form or capsule form. Ideally it should be non toxic.
