A Macro for MS Word to count characters changed in „Track Changes“

I need a Macro written for MS Word (working both in Word 2000 and Word 2007) that counts various types of characters changed in a document when "track changes" is switched on. For details, see the detailed description below. ## Deliverables I need a Macro written for MS Word (working both in Word 2000 and Word 2007) that counts various types of characters changed in a document when "track changes" is switched on. Characters to be counted include * Characters added * Characters deleted * Sum of both * Overall number of characters in the document in its final version (that is with either changes accepted, or, if not yet accepted, only those counted which appear on the screen when "track changes" is set to "don't show changes on screen" The numbers should appear in an ordinary alert box (message box) on the screen, when the Macro is run, with the respective document in the active window. I will start the Macro using a short cut that I will assign myself to this macro. The macro should be provided to me as VBA code which I will copy paste into my existing macro collection on my computer.
