I would like to have a windows desktop app, which crawls a specific auction/market site and provides the crawled goods information. Application should be working on windows without any dependencies. Application should not violate or trigger any blocking mechanism. Application should provide a live progress information like which category/make/model is being crawled atm. Application should store the data and check if any price changes. Application can be automatized to check regularly for price updates. Application should provide an excel dump on selected category. Application should have start/pause/stop options. Bonus: Price graphs over time with selected product. Bonus: Calculated average price of the product by model year. Outliers should be discarded. The site will be announced after project aggreement

Hi, I can code this application in Java and it will run directly from Windows. It will output live info on which information is currently being crawled and will store the data. Do you want it just stored in a database and then can output that info on request to Excel format? It can be automated to run at certain times. I will make sure it is multi-threaded so that you can stop, pause and start it. I have an excellent software library I use to generate really nice graphs which can be used for your bonus requirement.
