I am an Electrical Engineering student at IIT Bombay, India. I have learned about FPGA programming in my courses. I have used sdram present on the DE2-115 development board by altera. I have worked on many projects involing the use of sdram on the same board. I use VHDL for programming. The projects I talked were done without the use of NIOS provided by altera. They were done in pure VHDL.
