we have a simple split database with one form and one table
We need it changed / modified so when using the run time we have the facility for sort / filter based on certain data fields
with this sort accessable via the ribbon of by right click on the
relevant field
Also required is one report to be added that allows use to list all companies based on the category field that has to be user input
The database has about 15-20 fields in all it does is manage a list of suppliers base on suspplier name and category
this is in Aceess 2007 at present
Open to suggestions on re write in different way based on the layout and data we have as we have thrown together this database based on our requirements
Any programs used source code etc must be provided on completion
I am IT professional with 8 yrs experience. I have an excellent exp. with MS-Access. I have devloped several application with Ms-Access. I can do it for you in few hours.
This can be solved in easy way by using MS Access VBA macro integrated into your Access Forms and Reports. This macro or VBA code will be set on startup so it will be processed at first time load. Or, we could provide a trigger based button or column click for presenting users for sorting to specific field. Let me know if it is better for you.
