I can write a the scraper in phantomjs which can scrape from almost any site(except flash content). Login, javascript events, proxies, captcha can all be handled. The script can run as a local web server responding to queries on a REST API. The amount of work required can be assessed once the details of the site and content to be scraped is provided.
