Proficient and Professional CMS Web Designers ONLY.. We are looking to have two existing websites Re~designed and implemented in a new hosting environment. existing sites are; [login to view URL] [login to view URL] We would like a complete re~design that is modern, fresh and designed to a Cutting Edge Standard. We would look to leave the existing sites running in there current location and develop new sites hosted on Linux Servers from www.Web24.com.au. Once up and running these newly designed sites would then be used and the old or current sites closed. Open to suggestions on using Joomla, Wordpress or Drupal ( as these are the only CMS packages I am familiar with ) Although will consider other options pending the successful Bid. Web Site features I would like to be implemented are; ( Should also include all the standard Website features also ) Information text etc can be taken from the current site and used in your designs and should include all the current information features and develop the following. 1. Reports Download Screen ( .pdf files that can be download ) that will collect information information from person when attempting to download ( such as membership number, to do this I would need to provide and ftp a comma delimited file with member number and DOB to verify before download is allowed, this information is then to be available for review to see who download what ) 2. Function Menu Downloads ( .pdf files that can be download ) I would like to also collect information from persons wanted to download the Menu's, such as function date, and basic information, so we can perform followup calls on potential bookings. ( when downloaded we should receive an email to notify us of the persons information to perform the followup. 3. We use Myob Bill Payments ( Financial Accounting Package ) That I would like to integrate with ( see [login to view URL] ) So that Payments can be made through our website. - If this ends up being to tricky I would settle for a MYOB link on our screen for bill payments. 4. Facebook, I would like Facebook Sites created for each club and have our main webpage display likes and etc that integrate with Facebook. 5. Function Bookings I would like clients visiting our site to be able to compete a questionnaire regarding a potential booking that is then forwarded to us via email for a followup phone call. Questions would be basic and would need certain fields to be completed whilst others are optional. ~~~ Function Bookings displaying Room Layouts and Pictures would also need to be displayed and selectable. 6. Membership application Form would need to be recreated ( from a printed design ) into a web style form that can be completed and printed by visitors and physically presented at our reception with payment. - I would like to have a Membership Renewal functionality ( Members would need to insert there Membership Number and DOB ) to verify them, then an option for renewal periods i.e Renew 1yr $10.00 Renew 3 Yrs $50.00 and the ability to accept payment. 7. Contact Screen should contain a Map and standard style information 8. Weather information to be displayed on main screen from a reliable source that updates and stay's current. 9. Site would be maintained and edited when required ( simple changes like text and the occasional photo ) by a Basic Computer literate person so would need to keep that in mind in the design of text boxes. Designs will need to be impressive and professional.... We are looking to make our sites initiative and impressive in every way. Future implementation of a WYSIWYG function booking screen with the ability to drag and drop furniture and resources would be considered and decided once the initial design meets our high standards. Budget is an estimate only and includes both sites and incorporates all the above features. - Professional and Proficient Persons Only..

Hello Anthony, English Joomla expert here, I have had a look at your sites and yes they could do with a redesign and add new features. I have read your bid at length and will respond to the points raised - this is not a copy/paste bid along the lines of HIRE ME KINDLY SIRS!! - I am a serious bidder who understands your requirements. Let me run down your points - 1. / 2. Reports - Documents downloads - I can build a system that is easy to use and easy to upload new documents to, it can have different categories (folders) that contain the files (pdf/xls/word/txt/powerpoints etc) that can be downloaded on the front of the site. When a user downloads a file you will automatically get an email telling you that User XXX has downloaded file XXX with the date and ip address included also. You can set different permissions on the files so that only logged on users see the files for instance. 3. Payments - I am not familiar with the MYOB system but I have a lot of experience with embedding and integrating things into Joomla. 4. Facebook/Twitter - most sites have facebook like buttons and tweet buttons and think thats a good job. What I can do is total integration - anything posted to the site will automatically be sent to facebook and twitter with short url links back to the item on the site. Also I can set it up so you can directly comment from facebook on the joomla pages. I will show you a demo of an automatic facebook and twitter account from one of my sites. Also users will be able to use their facebook and twitter accounts to sign up for the site. 5. Bookings - I can make an interactive form that the users fill out and this is sent directly to you for follow up. 6. Membership - I can offer you a great membership solution that allows for different payment plans and also automatic renewal and reminders of renewal. I would have to investigate how to integrate this to MYOB. 7. Contact form - I can make a contact form with all the usual fields and a googlemap with directions inputs so it will draw you a route and display the waypoints etc on your site not googles so usrs do not go somewhere else or have an anoyying pop up. 8. Weather - I can install weather modules that use the address to display the current weather with nice graphics for sun/rain/clouds etc. 9. CMS - out of the box joomla is pretty easy to use but I work hard to make the admin of the site as simple as possible for clients. I can work with you to make editing and making new items as easy as possible, for instance I make content templates that can be loaded with a push of a button in the WYSIWYG editor so that the pages look exactly the same each time. 10. Whats on? I looked at [login to view URL] This could be so much better - I can offer you a proper events system that can display a calender of whts on this week/month etc. Also modules on the homepage for instance with links to events today. I can also offer attendance registration, users can click on an event and if they want to attend they can click a link and they are marked down as attending. If this system is of interest it can be later upgraded to accept payments also and users arrive at the event with a ticket they have printed out - also at reception they could have a printed guest list to verify the names and payments. 11. I see [login to view URL] is already a Joomla site. I also notice the URLs are long and not SEO optimised - I would make sure all the URLS on the site are perfect for SEO such as [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] 12. Two sites? well what I would do is make one complete site fully working then I could clone it then redesign the template and enter the different content. The sites will look different but exactly the same functions. I have excellent communications skills and also speak in perfect English (because I am English) so there will be lost in translation problems here. I have done a few sites for Australian clients before and found it very easy to get things done with them.
