I am researching into the creation of a web services agency aimed at small and medium sized businesses on a small island in the Indian Ocean. Services provided. Basic Website creation and or development SEO Site maintenance Localization Online marketing Translation. Etc. The market segment is low cost, however quality service must be provided as word of mouth is THE most important thing on a small island. My expertise is in Business creation, management, marketing and commercialization. I am looking to outsource all of the technical aspects of the business to one or more competent individuals or companies. I would need an existing portfolio of work and satisfied customers to show to prospects and a professional project specification model to be able to transfer relevant information to you. Pricing for sites can start with a low cost existing model portfolio easily adaptable to client’s needs, (storefronts, presentation sites with forms, sites with updateable pages/ blogs etc) starting from 2 pages up. Other pricing for more complicated sites could be done on a quote per job basis. SEO to be quoted by levels of service, from basic to top level optimisation. Translation quotes need to be given by language and by service, ex direct translation and adaptation of webpages to fully blown localization jobs. Proficiency of your staff of contacts in French (as well as English of course) would be a plus. Any other info that you think I might need to cost out and finalize my business model would be welcome.
