We are looking for a graph with the following features:
-multiple graphs on a page that can be positioned with css (and won't break existing layout)
-multiple lines per graph, with different colors per line
-display the increments along the horizontal & vertical axis
-accept an array of numbers to plot the graph
These features would be ideal to change through parameters versus hard coding.
We will have 9 graphs on a single web page so if images are used then each graph image should be 10kb or less such that the web page has less than 100kb of graph images.
The graph uploaded in this example is based on the table below:
Date Player Points
June 01, 2008 vch 25
June 01, 2008 fri 22
June 01, 2008 nin 16
June 02, 2008 fri 89
June 02, 2008 vch 77
June 02, 2008 nin 58
June 03, 2008 vch 166
June 03, 2008 fri 123
June 03, 2008 nin 99
The dates will go on the x axis and the points will go on the y axis. This example only has the first 3 days of the month. Some graphs will have up to 31 days. Whether the graph has 3 days or 31 days it will be allocated the same amount of space on the html page. This means the scales will need to be smaller when we are closer to 31 days.
We need to show the lines for the 3 players in 3 different colors just like the example that was uploaded.
The graphs need to be dynamically generated. The plan is for a php script to echo the html needed for the graph to display.
No flash is to be used.
