Please read the requirements carefully.
I need a developer to create a class for media playback supplied via an array. This class will be object oriented with some methods returning void and others objects. The class will be for initiating and controlling playback via the object.
The following methods are required:
load_file - Prepare file/stream for playback, sets volume to system media playback volume setting.
startPlayback - Send file/stream either directly to hardware via AudioTrack::write() or to Android MediaPlayer.
pausPlayback - Pause the audio stream, again choice can be via the AudioTrack::pause() or MediaPlayer::pause(), just be consistent. Needs to return the current position.
stopPlayback - Stop the audio stream and clear buffer/resource if used.
goToPosition(position) - Skip to position specified
getFileLength(resource) - Returns the length of the audio resource in milliseconds
getFileSize(resource) - Returns the file size in bytes of the resource [may not be necessary so wait for confirmation before working on method]
getPosition(resource, type) - Returns the marker position in frames or milliseconds depending on the type. Regardless of how the audio is handled (AudioTrack or MediaPlayer) it should return the values requested.
That's it for now. The class needs to have error handling & throw/catch control. This is not an entire android application. I don't care that you created a new project from oncreate to exit to build the class. If you use open source code or code found on the internet, include the original code and the copyright and/or permission from the original author to use the code in a commercial project. I will check to ensure the code wasn't ripped from someone else without credit. You can use other libraries with the class that are not in the Android SDK, just include the libraries with your submission.
