Looking for software that will perform blogging function. The software should run on Windows XP service pack 2. The software must perform the following functions: (1) It must pull news articles from news services like [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] news. These articles are to be automatically inserted into blogs from blogger.com. The key index for this determination would be a database (could be access or SQL) Access is easier as this is DESKTOP software. The DB would contain blogname, keywords for the use of the searching the news, and the last date the news was queried. This would be used to make determinations like whether the same news article was posted to the same blog twice. It is okay to post the same news article to another blog from the blog set, but not to the same blog twice in a row. (2) The program must be able to be scheduled. I want to schedule this program and walk away. (3) The program must then send pings to pingomatic.com. So it would simply take the url from the DB, and send it to [login to view URL] with the Keywords in the blog name line, and fill in the URL. This is VERY easy to do. (4) This process must run efficiently. I want to be able to blog and ping 500 blogs from news services in 12 hours. Scenario: -User starts program. Program looks up first blog from list of blogs. Program pulls keywords from that blog's record. Program inserts those words into [login to view URL] (news). News results come back. Program goes to that text for that article. Program copies or uses the blogger button to post that article directly to the referenced blog in that record. Program repeats this behavior until end of blog list is reached. at that time the goes to sleep.
