Viral Site System Websites are dedicated to telling the viral Stories of the web. Our demographics are women aged 18-45, 30-55, and 40-65. And we specialize in Food, Pets, Parenting, Life (i.e. personal interest), and Do-It-Yourself stories. We are looking for an organized, creative, enthusiastic Copywriter & Content Marketer to help find those Stories, and then tell them in such a way as to connect with their appropriate demographics and make those Stories go viral. The right candidates should be native English speaker, have experience creating engaging content for various online outlets and a solid understanding of general marketing principles. He or she must be flexible, fast, and have a personal drive to create and manage blogs and SEO website content. He or she must be able to create excellent (i.e. viral) social media (e.g. Facebook) posts and ad campaigns and then iterate on them until they are optimized. No plagiarism is allowed. RESPONSIBILITIES: ●Improve continuously (i.e. take feedback and improve with every Story you write.) ●Brainstorm ideas. ●Identify and research viral stories. ●Take that viral story and make it YOUR viral Story (i.e. must not be copied/must be original text you wrote) in a 1 or 2 page (i.e. 300-500 word) blog post. ●Get/Create optimal images for each Story. ●Write excellent Story titles. ●Write effective social media post descriptions. ●Do basic/quick keyword research. ●Contribute to our overall content strategy. ●Conduct research on new content marketing innovations and trends. ●Stay up to date on industry trends, techniques, and best practices. QUALIFICATIONS: ●Strong portfolio that demonstrates high-quality content writing & editing skills, ●Able to maintain clear/regular communications, and when problems arise, will not disappear, but instead will ask for help. ●Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills, ●Quick learning, creative, & "think on your feet" abilities, ●Excellent attention to detail & accuracy. ●2+ years experience in blogging or web content writing. ●Must have a strong knowledge of Wordpress and the process of creating and managing POSTS. PREFERRED: ●College degree in a writing or marketing related field. ●Knowledge of SEO, blogging, and the ability to conduct basic keyword research. ●Marketing knowledge. PLUSSES: ●Knowledge in Facebook Business Manager. ●Knowledge in Google Analytics is a plus. ●Create, implement, monitor, and continuously refine PPC, paid search campaigns (e.g. Facebook ads). PAYMENT: This is long term project, for the right person, we will need articles done everyday. We pay $3-5 per article, 2-3 articles required each day. Your performance will be measured by social media comments, likes and comments.
