[This is also the project brief on site] The employer is looking for: An experienced C++ developer to migrate his currently working application to Windows. The brain/core of the application is written in C++ and was written with cross-platform needs in mind. However, the UI part is completed using Objective-C objects (NSMenu, NStatusBar) etc and currently works on Mac only. We are looking for a developer that can propose the simplest way to make this application work on Windows. We are open to solutions with GNUStep, QT, Python, C++/WinRT etc as long as it is within the budget and preserves the existing architecture of the application. In fact the key details that we will pay attention to when choosing UI solution are Is it fast to implement? Is it affordable? Thin plugin layer (easy to embed in code without having to used too many of extra features) Would it replicate the current feature set we have? We can show you the code and how UI components are called in video call. As for Kraken itself, you can read more about our application here: [login to view URL] . Essentially it is a Dialogue Editor Toolkit. The core features of the software are: Manager of the Audio files Data presentation and visualization Please start your proposal with “I love C++” so that I know you read the description. Bids with more detailed proposals of action will more likely be called in for an interview.
