Hi there, Perhaps the database could be imported to Google Sheets? So - you would only have access to the master database link, and then a secondary Google Sheets link could be created which the others have access to which would import the data from the master database link so essentially it would be view only for them. Whenever you make changes or additions to the database using your own master link, the secondary link for the users would automatically update based on your changes to the master. You could also constantly export the master link to an Excel file for backup purposes. Do you think this type of cloud based solution might work for your database scenario? I have read your project about the database you own in Excel, my suggestion is we can port this to a .NET environment so the database could be centrailzed and you could also have security for people to do editing, deleting, adding, etc. So everyone could have a client in their machine but the database could be stored somewhere else safe. Hello! I wanted to tell you that, if you wish, I can do the work as requested, in Excel. Still, if you allow me, I wanted to make a suggestion. I wanted to tell you that in my company I have created a database in MS Access and I have the same problem as you (I want to protect it from possible errors that inexperienced people can commit ...). I have also created several databases for small businesses and sports clubs and I have had to adapt them for inexperienced users. After much research I discovered that the best solution is to create a Master database and others that depend on it. Through user permissions, all content is protected (only you would have administrator access). In addition, many users can work simultaneously, MS Access itself manages it. The idea is to pass all the acutal Excel data to MS Access. Then the database "Master" (back-end) and those of the users (front-end) are created in which there are only forms of entry and modification of data without having access to the data tables, you can only enter /modify data. The user databases can be all the same or customized. The user interface will be very simple to use (learning will not be necessary). Only the administrator, through a password, can access all the tables (in this case you). It is the best way to have the databases under control, without the occurrence of accidents, and whenever you want you can link the data to Excel to analyze data, etc. For more information, please, contact me.
