To whom it may concern, Creating your database should not be too difficult. However, I would appreciate a lot more detailed description of the data to be captured, reports, etc. I am also very interested to know in what sort of environment would you use the database (office, one of the wessels), what hardware and software you currently use (what sort of computers, which operating systems, etc). The more info you give, the better I will be able to design the application. Application could also support not only info about vessels, but also about shipments (containers, bulk or liquid cargo etc), customer orders etc. You tell me what you need, and we can work on it right away.
