Hello, I am a thirty-something mother with a crazy imagination and I have two beautiful kids who are the inspiration for much of my writing. My passion for great stories has been a part of who I am for as long as I can remember. Like most authors, many of my childhood days were spent pouring over favourites such as The Secret Garden, Twelve Dancing Princesses and of course The Chronicles of Narnia. WOW! I just watched the video and I am so excited about this project! I am the mother of four boys as well as a writer. I can only imagine what fun we/they would have had with something like this when they were growing up. It's interesting that parents of girls and parents of boys both feel there is a need for stories for each gender. As a writer, I enjoy collaborating with others to improve and embellish story ideas. Sometimes, just one suggestion is all it takes to move a story from good to great. I am available for collaboration as needed for this project. Depending on how you wish to proceed, I can provide three complete story outlines in a two days and with some input, finish them up over the next 3-4 days (with more back and forth with your team). I am enthralled with the concept that the hero of the story is dependent on who the reader is! What fun for everyone involved! I have written (for other people) 10 e-books, though only one through Freelancer. I hold a degree in Journalism from the University of Florida, have homeschooled all four of my sons (still working on #4) and write extensively on a variety of online sites as well as for local publications here in Orlando. Hello, ImaginMe sounds like a wonderful storytelling project for children. I'd love to be a part of the project. Stories and games formulated a huge part of my childhood, and I would love to be able to be a part of something that shaped me into who I am today. I am an editor and author. The genre's I generally work within are fantasy, science fiction, and horror (obviously I wouldn't write horror for children). I enjoyed watching the video! I agree that children love great stories where the hero saves the day. Instead of watching other characters, they can see themselves on the adventures. Story 1: Magic homework pencil that teaches the hero the value of studying and having fun. Story 2: Magic lab coat that gives the hero the power of discovery to invent gadgets that help them in daily life. Story 3: The hero, and maybe some friends, find an old treasure map and dig underground to find a hidden civilization.

Hi, I watched the video and love this project. My name is Daniel and I'm an American writer, educator and multimedia producer currently living in Beijing, China. I have a plethora of stories that I could contribute to this project, and having both education and multimedia in my background, I excel at developing these types of modules and stories. In fact, I have developed a lot of e-learning modules before that are near to this projects goals, and many of those designs I could repurpose towards this one. Furthermore, being fluent in American culture as well as having a decade of experience living in China and working with both children and adults here, I could write stories that cater to both Asian and Western children. Furthermore, I have a BA in English Literature from Boston University, so reading, writing and stories are an inherent part of my academic and intellectual foundation. I think your project is amazing and SO much fun! It's important to get children to enjoy reading and learning, and I commend the makers of the ImagineMe series for their vision. I would LOVE to write some children's stories that help them understand the interconnectedness of nature, conservation of endangered species and how important it is to understand their local environments. Ultimately, I would like to re-work a number of themes in various American Indian myths and stories for the new generation.
