Remote Order Form using Filemaker Go or WebDirect

I have a wide experience with Filemaker Pro, and lately I have been working with a couple of projects involving the on-field use of the database with Filemaker GO. What you ask is absolutely doable and here below is how I would build it up. - The FM app developed for iOS will store data locally in each device, to avoid any problem caused by a bad or missing internet connection. An 'update' button will refresh data in the app by connecting to the central database and downloading data which was added or changed after the last update. - The interface will be designed to maximise ease of use on iPads and iPhones. To take advantage of the iPad bigger screen, a specific version of layouts will be designed for it, rather than just 'inflate' the iPhone layouts. - To send orders an 'email order' will be set up. If there are no particular problems due to the main database data structure or your company workflow, a direct addiction to the database is also possible.
