I am an economist, received at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and I have a degree in finance from the Universidad Católica Argentina. What makes me the right candidate is my experience related to speculative attacks, as an Argentine citizen. On one hand I lived and studied the 2001 crisis in my country. On the other, recently (the second half of 2013) we lived a new currency crisis that required strong measures (jan-feb 2014) to stabilize the currency market.
