Freelance Jr. Graphic Artist / Designer - Community Theatre

Freelance Jr. Graphic Artist / Designer needed to design the following: - Title Logos for plays / shows - Season ticket brochure for theatre - Show / play posters This requires someone who has both artistic talent and graphic design skills, as the posters aspect of project may require original artwork or at the very least (stock) photo / image manipulation. Broad concepts are already pre-defined - we need someone technically and artistically capable of implementing them. We already have the rough logo concepts, so it is a matter of someone refining them with an artistic influence. Our intention is to provide very clear notes on style and colour schemes (as they will have to be compatible with overall future poster concepts) so it should be a simple process with perhaps a couple of comps / proofs back and forth. Attached is a rough concepts example PDF of all but one of the proposed show logos, so you may get an idea of what we're looking for. These are rough examples so quite open to interpretation. Also attached is an example of our last Season brochure, which as you can see is a bit ‘cheesey’ - but it will give you an idea of the type of brochure we’d require. Work / files must be created as PhotoShop .psd layers, or at least exported for use as .psd layers (for future manipulation.) We are open to all levels of experience. (Prior experience designing a fold out brochure is preferred.) We are a local non-profit theatre, so the pay is modest. But you will receive a professional reference, your work will be credited in our show programmes / playbills and on our website, and we can offer future work and free tickets to plays if you are local. Project consists of: - 8 Title Logos (7 of the 8 concepts are predefined - just need to be refined) - 5 Show posters - 1 Season brochure Project starts immediately and must be completed by May 25th. It is imperative that the logos and the brochure be completed by the 25th. The posters may follow that deadline. You may work remotely but must be available for occasional phone meetings (Skype is fine) about the project. So a solid English-language skills are necessary. We prefer it if you can invoice via Paypal account so we may pay by company credit card, but we can also pay via company check. (This is our first posting on Freelancer so not quite sure if we must pay for services your via this website - which is also fine.)
