I want my employees to access excel files on my webpage like they can on theyr computer to edit and save. then anyone (me) with access can look/edit the same file. I know its easy to upload files to the site, but I need help to make a solution to also have people access and edit the files, like theyr browsing on theyr own harddisc.

Either you can use Google Spreadsheets or take subscription office 365 sharepoint. Both these options will satisify your requirements. Please let me know, if you want to migrate existing excel files into Google Spreadsheets
