I currently have a running Wix Website that I would like to convert over to Wordpress. This is a photography website so focus on quality images and display. It currently has about 15 pages as well as a blog that I would like transferred. I would like all the current functionality. Need to include live online chat - online contracts to fill out - search - client reviews - updated display galleries for both photography and video - links to social media - updated blog design. I would like to be able to post social media (facebook, pintrest, instagram, google +, youtube, vimeo, ) and have it shared on the website or vise versa. eg)Post new videos to youtube and they load into the website listing as a preview. Needs to be optimized both for desktop and mobile phone. Fast loading and clean. Tips & advice welcome. I would also like the new site to be SEO optimized. I would like the developer to be programming with proper tags, links, titles, design with SEO in mind. Blog links using SEO words and not www....blog/" generic links. Internal links, external links, etc Google Panda, Penguin, Hummingbird. The current WIX site is functioning well and ranking high with google. I need it moved to WIX for a cleanup, better functionality and overall upgrade. Project does not need to be rushed as there is an open time frame. This is the 3rd change of this website so I am familiar with the ins-out of this kind of project. As well I have 12 years as an IT consultant. I have since left the field and would rather have an experienced developer create the site properly. Open to advice on a better web design and someone who can help create something better.
